In the wake of the distribution of the hostile Daat Emet pamphlets in Charedi neighborhoods in Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, and elsewhere in Israel -- pamphlets which include the most serious apostasy, meant to shake the faith of the religious -- a pamphlet titled "This teaching shall not be replaced" has been published.
The new pamphlet contains six pages and nine sections which refute, point by point, the heresy of the Daat Emet pamphlet.
In recent months Yated Neeman has warned, time and again, about the distribution of this heretical pamphlet. In the wake of such publicity many threw the pamphlet into the trash, but despite the warnings, some paid no heed and read the pamphlet, which is full of heretical sophistry.
A group of yeshiva students in Jerusalem investigated the subject thoroughly and concluded that the apostate who wrote the pamphlet copied the questions from a book which was published in recent years about Tractate Chulin -- including errors as they appeared in the original text. The author of this book also presented timeless answers to the questions, but the authors of the Daat Emet pamphlet chose not to cite those, in an attempt to shake the faith of the religious public.
The group of yeshiva students, while writing the pamphlet in consultation with important rabbis, tried to locate the author or authors of the pamphlet. It is suspected that it was written by an important member of the media who had been religious and left, and who used the knowledge he has accumulated during his years in the study halls of the holy yeshivot.
